Cascade Training Center provides official American Heart Association ACLS Courses. Upon successful course completion, you will be issued an official AHA ACLS provider eCard.
The ACLS Provider Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and manage adult cardiovascular emergencies. Students are expected to participate in lecture, learning stations, review stations and skills testing scenarios. The ACLS curriculum includes:
- Respiratory Emergencies
- - Recognize and perform early management of respiratory arrest
- Pre-Arrest Emergencies
- - Bradycardia
- - Stable Tachycardia
- - Unstable Tachycardia
- - Acute Coronary Syndromes
- - Treatment of Stroke
- Cardiac Arrest
- - Simple VF/VT
- - Complex VF/VT
- - PEA
- - Asystole
The American Heart Association requires each student to have access to their own current AHA ACLS Provider Textbook prior to, during and after the ACLS course. If you do not have access to a textbook, you MUST purchase one and will have the option to purchase one during your registration. If the option to purchase a textbook is not available please contact the Training Center at (877) 277-6778 for information on how you can purchase one. If you would like your textbook shipped to you before the course, please select the shipping option at the time of checkout. Your textbook will be shipped within 2 business days to the address supplied during course registration.
Please note for ACLS - Precourse is MANDATORY
Before the course, please read the ACLS Provider Manual, complete the mandatory pre-course assessment modules on the student website click here identify any gaps in your knowledge, and remediate those gaps by studying the applicable content in the ACLS Provider Manual or other supplementary resources, including the student website click here. A passing score for the self-assessment is 70% and you may take it an unlimited number of times to achieve a passing score.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR PRECOURSE SELF-ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATE WITH YOU TO THE CLASS.
The Cascade Training Center does not offer refunds once your registration is complete. If you have an emergency that makes you unable to attend the course, you must contact the Training Center before 48 hours of the start time of your course. The Training Center Staff will move you to the next available course or issue a course credit.
Course credits can only be applied to the same type of course, may not be used by another person and must be used within 90 days of the missed course. Once a credit is applied, the student must attend that course – a credited course will not be refunded or credited a second time.
The Cascade Training Center is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Cascade Training Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 10 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity meets the criteria for up to 10 hours of Category I CME credit to satisfy the re-licensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
