Cascade Training Center provides official American Heart Association ACLS Courses. Upon successful course completion you will be issued an official AHA ACLS provider card on site.

The ACLS Provider Skills Evaluation is to serve as part 2 and 3 of the AHA HeartCode ACLS course. Students must complete AHA HeartCode ACLS Part 1 and print the course completion certificate prior to taking this skills test. The skills session is designed to verify the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT arrest. Students are expected to know 10 core ACLS cases:

Respiratory Emergencies
Pre-Arrest Emergencies
- Bradycardia
- Stable Tachycardia
- Unstable Tachycardia
- Acute Coronary Syndromes
- Treatment of Stroke
Cardiac Arrest
- Simple VF/VT
- Complex VF/VT
- Asystole
Per current AHA program administration guidelines, A BLS CPR card is NOT required for this course, but you must be proficient in Adult BLS for healthcare provider skills and your skills will be reviewed and evaluated as part of the ACLS Provider Course. BLS certification is not included with ACLS course registration. Students that are not confident in their BLS CPR Skills should register for a CPR for Healthcare Provider Course prior to attending the ACLS Course. Many ACLS courses offered through Cascade Training Center include an option to renew a your BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers credential. You may see an option to purchase this as a FASTtrack BLS renewal or BLS CPR Online Part 1 w/ Skills Verification. The Renewal class is reserved for those that are currently certified in ACLS. If your credential is expired or you do not have a copy of the certification card you may still qualify for a renewal class. Call the Training Center for more details.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

The Cascade Training Center does not offer refunds once your registration is complete. If you have an emergency that makes you unable to attend the course, you must contact the Training Center before 48 hours of the start time of day one of the class and the Training Center Staff will move you to the next available course or issue a course credit. Course credits can only be applied to the same type of course, may not be used by another person and must be used within 90 days of the missed course. Once a credit is applied, the student must attend that course – a credited course will not be refunded or credited a second time.

Students that are unsuccessful in passing the skills evaluation will be required to take an ACLS Course. The Cascade Training Center does not offer refunds for the skills evaluation session in the event you are unable pass.
