The Cascade Training Center is happy to validate any course certificate/credential that has the Cascade Training Center information on it as the credentialing entity. We require that the documentation that you are asking to be validated be emailed as an attachment to our customer service center with the information of the person(s)/entities requesting the validation. If you are trying to validate an AHA eCard, please visit Under the section titled "Employers," simply input the eCard credential ID and click "Submit." A PDF file will automatically download containing the student's AHA eCard. If you receive a message saying "Invalid eCard number. Please re-enter." this may mean that the student has not yet activated their eCard. If the student does not know how to activate their eCard, they can contact our staff at 877-277-6778 or for assistance.

AHA eCards are issued within 72 hours of course completion. Please keep in mind that if your course takes place over the weekend, we will not have admin staff available until Monday morning. We will do our best to get your eCard issued as soon as possible after that. During business hours, you are welcome to call us at 877-277-6778 or email to request your eCard be expedited.

If you do not see your eCard activation email within 72 hours, try checking your spam or junk folder within your email account. If you do not see the email there, please call our staff at 877-277-6778 to confirm that your email address was input correctly.

AHA eCards are issued by Cascade admin staff through the American Heart Association's website. You will receive an email (at the email address you used to register) from which will contain the link to activate and download your eCard. Follow the steps to create a profile (or connect your eCard to your existing profile), and then your eCard will be viewable to print or download.
- Make sure you are claiming your AHA eCard from a personal computer, not a smartphone or tablet. Sometimes AHA's system is not compatible with these devices.
- Check for a firewall. This is often an issue when trying to claim an AHA eCard from a workplace computer.
- Try another web browser. Cookies can lead to complications with AHA's website.

If you have previously claimed an eCard, it can be found by visiting Under the section titled "Students," input your name and email address OR your eCard credential ID, and then click "Submit." You will be prompted to enter the answer to the security question you created upon claiming your eCard.
